The CARAMELO always takes place in summer in principle. It is advisable to go to the festival site to find out about the conditions of access to the festival or send us an email.
It is advisable to get to the Festival venue early enough to avoid long queues and take advantage of the numerous food stands, crafts and fashion which will be on site.
Access to Place de la Navigation from the city center or Lausanne train station is not very complicated. For those who want to get there by car, there are parking lots in Ouchy. However, we strongly recommend that festival-goers use public transport, particularly the M2. We also recommend consulting the train timetables to and from Lausanne which has a station that is generally well served. To get to Place de la Navigation, an information office located in Lausanne train station will be happy to advise you on how to get there in less than 10 minutes on foot.
Food
The many festival-goers will have no difficulty in eating on site. The choices will be numerous, with African, South American, Asian and European specialties offered by on-site caterers .
